The Huron Expositor, 1996-12-25, Page 29The Christmas Elf
There was a elf who loved
to sing. One day when he
was at work he was singing.
The head elf said, "If you
don't start working and stop
singing you will get fired."
But he loved to sing while he
worked. So he realized he
didn't belong. He ran away.
When he was looking for a
place to live, he stopped at a
"sing a song" place. He went
in there. He became a star.
But a couple of years later
Santa recognized him. He
asked why he wasn't working
as an elf. He said that he was
meant to he a singer. Oh said
Santa. How about we have
you sing for us at the north
pole. He sang there once a
week.
