1996. He was 77 years old, Rev
Andrew McKenzie, beloved

They were married Nov 17, 1942
at Egmondville United Church. He
was a son of the late William
McKenzie and the former Margaret
Murdoch McKenzie McLaughlin.

FEENEY, Wilfred, son of the late
William and Bridget (Roach)
Feeney, was born in Dublin on
November 23, 1904 Wilfred
farmed for many years in Hibbert
Township until he retired to Dublin.
He passed away at Stratford
General Hospital on Saturday,
June 22, 1996. Wilfred Feeney is
survived by one sister, Teresa
Costello _of London, as well as
several nieces and nephews.
Wilfred has been well cared for
• and loved by long time friend,
Madelaine (Ruston) , Hunt, her
husband Jim and children Angela,
• Allen and Brent. He was -
predeceased by nine brothers and
sisters, Mary Ann Meagher,
Elizabeth Murphy, Lila Giroux,
Martin, Pat, Frank, William and
Jimmy Feeney, and Monsignor
Joseph. Visitation was held at the
Whitney-Ribey Funeral • ' Home,

exchange
student
killed
An "outgoing" and popular
exchange student from
Mexico was killed on the eve
of her 17th birthday in a sin-
gle -car accident in
Mornington Township near
Milverton, that also seriously.
injured two other passengers
on June 22, including a
Brussels -area teenager,
Dead is Liliana Alverez
Franco of Poza Rica, Vera
Cruz, in Mexico who arrived
in Canada on exchange last
August, and had been study-
ing at St. Michael secondary
school in Stratford, in Grade
11.
She was one of four passen-
gers. Two others remain in
London's Victoria Hospital,
18- year old Jason Terpstra of
RR 3 Brussels who has
improved and late last week
had been upgraded to good
condition, and 17 -year-old
Teresa Dietrich of RR I
Newton, who was operated
on and in good condition by
late last week.
Another passenger in the
car, Brian Terpstra, 20, of RR
2 Atwood, was hospitalized
with minor injuries and
released.
The vehicle was driven by
16 -year-old Michelle Gould
of Stratford.
Correction
The first Municipal Trade
Show in 1996, which was
also hosted by Huron County,
was at the then new Stanley
Township complex outside of
Varna, and not elsewhere in
the county as The Huron
Expositor reported last week.
The same big show is being
hosted by Seaforth early next
June, the second time the
event will have been held in
Huron County.
