BY MR. McCARROLL
I've taught grade eight at
St. James School for the last
five y.ears yet somehow it
feels like I've been here a
lifetime. The last week has
been overwhelming as I pack
up my things and head off to
new adventures at St. Anne's
School. It's difficult to find
words ' great enough to
'express the gratitude I feel'
for being accepted in such 'a
wonderful community. There
are countless individuals I'd
like to thank and I hope to do
so over the next few weeks
with a hug or a hand shake.
I'd like to thank several
groups for being accommo-
dating in' the various func-
tions our school and class
was involved with in the last
five years: The Huron
Expositor, Sparky's, Seaforth
Public School, Kid's Klothes,
Bob and Betty's Seaforth
Manor, The Lion's Pool,
Jean's Flower Shop, Sills
Hardware and especially
Knechtels.
I sincerely hope that the
community welcomes our
graduates and young people
in general into their hearts.
These teenagers will be in
secondary school for the next
4-5 years and then they will
be looking for a place in the
working world quite possibly
in the local area. Please have
faith in our young people just
as our elders had faith in us.
Farewell Seaforth....it was
Great!

haven't spent all of my years
at Seaforth. I came with the
rest of the grade three class to

Some of the memorable
moments at Walton were the
activities we filled our days
with. We coloured pictures,
learned how to count to 100,
listened to stories, and of
course, laughed at Brad when
