earlier than expected.
He seriously injured an arm
in an accident with a town
sander during the winter, but
rehabilitation has been quick-

2.42 per cent
The Exeter constituency
office of Huron MPP Helen
Johns says that as of late last
week, exactly 484 pre -written
postcards of the 20,000 sent
out in the current campaign
by the Huron County Board
of Education had been
received, or 2.42 per cent.
The hoard distributed the
postcards addressed to Johns
across Huron last month.
The postcards petition the
government for education
finance .reform. and a single
school system under one gov-
ernance body.
Clarification
In last week's story on the
April director's recognition
awards of the Huron County
Board of Education, several
lines were lost in layout per-
taining to the achievements
of one of the recipients. The
original copy read as follows:
Jared P. Ibbotson, a student
at Vanastra, was also singled
out by the director for his lit-
erary creations, described as
"brilliant", which show matu-
rity beyond his years in "lan-
guage style, imagery and lin-
guistic constructions."
