The Huron Expositor, 1995-05-17, Page 46Page 14-Rec Book '95 SEAFORTH LIBRARY The Seaforth Branch of the Huron County Library is open as follows: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Friday from 10:00 am to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. It is closed all day Wednesday. The Children's Story Hour is held every Friday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 am from October through to May. Besides having all types of books available, videos can be rented, periodicals can be borrowed, large print, books on cassette and talking books are also available. This gives you a chance to register for programs for you and your child all at one time in one location. The Registration nights will be Wednesday, September 6 and Thursday, September 7, 1995 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. each night at the Seaforth and District Community Centres. Groups involved in the registration will be Scouts, Cubs, Beavers, Guides, Minor Broomball, Ringette, Hockey, Figure Skating, Youth Bowling, Curling, and Recreation Depart- ment Programs. REFUND POLICY The Recreation Department's REFUND POLICY is as follows: The Recreation Office must be notified prior to the start of the second class of any program, if a refund is requested. If a refund is granted, the participant will receive a credit to any other Recreation Department offered program, less a $5.00 administration charge. If you don't have your ticket for this annual event, you'd better act fast. As usual they are going fast. Tickets are $100.00 and available from any Agricultural Society Member. Grand Prize is the choice of one of the three Farm Tractors Case IH, John Deere or Ford. FALL FAIR - October 6 & 7, 1995 One of the best fairs in the county will be held at the Seaforth District Arena and Agricultural Grounds. Featured events are viewing of home craft, bakery, several horse, sheep, cattle and pig shows, as well as a midway and exhibits in the Community Centres. FARM TOY AND DOLL SHOW - December 2 & 3, 1995. Another event that the Agricultural Society sponsors, with each show in its own building. This show attracts exhibitors from all over Ontario and parts of United States.
