A committee is planning a Farm Hikers Tour for the arca around Goderich, Colborne Township and Hulleu Township. The event is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 15. The Farm Hikers Tour will include potential walks through Bannockburn Conservation Area. Participants will also visit some of the seven or tight host farms which will be` taking part in the event, showing both rural and urban people a little of what arca farms are doing. Visitors may see diverse aspects of farming such as orchards, dairy producers or other types of farming. "The committee will continue to meet and hopefully do some promo- tion," said Sheryl Feagan, chairperson of the Rural Health Coordinating Committee. "If anyone wants to volunteer and help or get involved they would be welcome." The tour is adapted from the model of similar events in Waterloo and Middlesex.
