The Jays continue to hold first
place in the St. James Bowling
League after a 5-2 victory over the
Emus on Monday, Dec. 19 at Star-
light Lanes.
Martin Andreassi paced the Jays
with 219,233-647. Leading scores
for the Emus were bowled by Gord
.Murray 223-547 and Mark Higenell
219-515. The Partridges kept pace
with a 5-2 win over the Loons.
Connie Marion had an excellent
night with 265,281-705, Janice
Morris 253-631 and Arie Van
Diepen 207-523.
For the Loons, it was Bob
Dinsmore 206,265-659, and Martin
Van Bakel 249-589. In the final
match. it was the Doves blanking
the Eagles 7-0. Top bowlers for the
Doves were Don Nolan 214,284-
675, Jack Ryan 223,202-596.
George Love led the Eagles with
281-679, and Betty Johnston 215-
533.
