The Swedes have a favourite saint named Saint Lucia. Dec. 13 is St. Lucia Day and their Christmas season starts with a festival of lights, according to Lillie Patterson, author of Christmas in America. Everyone has heard of Santa's elves. Well, the Swedes had their own legend about Scandinavian elves with pointed red caps and long beards who brought with them gifts. Snow White, beautiful, fun, The bright light snow is falling. It sparkles and it shines. Its really cool to play with snow tumbling and rolling and throwing. Angels, snowmen, big white forts.
