Meaning of Christmas.' Stories below also deal with the true meaning of Christmas.
What Christmas is all about
We sat down to eat our Christmas
dinner that Grandma had just
cooked. It was so good I could
have had thirds but I didn't. It was
wonderful. We all sat down in the
living room. Mom started to play
the piano and Grandma started
singing. "We Wish You a Merry
Christmas". We all joined in. After
Time to remember
Christ's birth
by Lydia Zulauf
Huron Centennial
There is a time when Christmas
comes we stop and remember the
time of Jesus birth. He came into
the world in a stable from the vir-
gin Mary, but with the beliefe of
"Santa Claus" we tend to forget the
birth. We love Jesus, the only
begotten Son of the heavenly
Father,,God.
Christmas is...
Christmas is holly and gay mistle-
toe; Christmas is tinsel and soft
candleglow. Christmas is cookies
and candy cane treats. It's the warm
cheery greeting for friends that we
meet. Christmas is children with
faces aglow; It's Santa and reindeer
and new -fallen snow. It's tissue and
seals and bright coloured string. It's
greeting cards and presents and the
carols we sing. Yes, Christmas is
this, but, Oh, It's much more than
tinsel and trees and gifts in a store.
Christmas is angels drawing nigh to
the earth to tell the good news of
the dear Saviours birth. Christmas
is God's Son sent down from
above...The real meaning of Christ-
mas can only mean love.

we sang Christmas carols we
opened the gifts. Boy, was I happy
with all my presents. The room
went silent, then Grandpa started
telling a story. Soon I heard some
Christmas carollers. I listened to
them for a moment and then I went
to my pile of presents. I found a
pair of mittens. I grabbed my coat,
called The
put on my boots, went outside, and
gave a kid my mittens. My heart
was filled with joy. Then I realized
that giving is more important than
anything else. I walked away feel-
ing good about myself.

What Christmas means, by
student at Huron Centennial
By Allen McBride
Christmas means alot to me
because Jesus was born on the 25th
of December and my birthday is on
the 26th of December. I get 8 lot of
love from my mom and.dad. And
my grandma C and Step Grandpa.
And Grandma 'Martin and my
Aunt's and Uncle's. I like to see
my family every year that makes
me happy. My cousins gives little
presents. But I still think about
Jesus birth. That is the most that is
on my mind. Our church is going to
put on a choir for Christmas.
