County Christmas Bureau from Marcy McCall (treasurer of the Seatorth District High School Athletic
Association) and Sarah Johnston .(Athletic Association president) and Christa Bennett, Terry Johnston,
Kim Jamieson, Kara Murray, Lori Perrie, Jayne Walsh and Carly Price. The money was raised at the
Huron -Perth All-Star Basketball game held at Seaforth District High School on Thursday. The students
in the back row participated for Huron.
Delegation approaches, Hullett
Huliet Township Council had
its inaugural meeting on Mon.
Doc. 5 when members were
sworn into office for their new
term. Council heard two
delegations: Eric Anderson,
Hullctt's representative for
Seaforth Community Hospital
reported on activities for the
year; and a committee of the
Hullett Central Parent Support
Group expressed its concerns
about playground equipment in
tate township's infrastructure
project, asking that it be a multi-
purpose use facility in
runjunction with the public
.choof .
Hullett Township Council
passed a motion at its Dec. 5
regular meeting that a letter be
,int to Union Gas, with copies
to the Ontario Energy Board,
expressing -council's concerns
about the route of the proposed
gas line on the 2 & 3
Concessions of the township.
At its regular meeting Dec. 5,
Hullett Township Council
instructed its roads
.upcnintendent to advertise the
tree tops left from logging on
pan of lot 13, Con. 2 in the
township. Council also appointed
Joe Gibson as joint
representative for itself, the
"township of McKillop and
Seaforth to the Ausable-Bayfield
Conservation Authority.
