The Ross Gordon Award is
donated by Ross Gordon of RR1
Seaforth to the 4-1-1 Sodbuster
member who had the best crown
at the 4-H Junior Day at the
Huron County Plowing Match.
This year the winner was Jason
Hugill of RR2 Seaforth.
Darcy Flanagan of RR 1 Dublin
was the recipient of the Townsend
Tire Award presented to the
youngest 4-H member active in
the Sodbuster Club.
The Agvise Award was
presented to Charlene Townsend
of RR4 Seaforth, the Sodbuster
member with the highest total
points at the International Plowing
Match.
The first Sodbuster Leader
Award was received by Charlene
Townsend of RR4 Seaforth for
her top land plowed at the
achievement program by com-
petitive plow. Jeff Grobbink of
RR3 Walton won the second
award for the top land plowed at
the achievement program by a
non-competitive plow.
The Doug Kennedy Award,
donated by Doug Kennedy of
Thamesford to the reserve sheep
showman at Seaforth Fair was
won by Laurie Rodges of .RR2
Godcrich.
Paul Klopp, MPP, donated the
Paul Klopp Award to the cham-
pion 4-H sheep showman in
Huron County and the 1994 win-
ner was Kevin Campschrocr of
Blyth.
Erin McNaughton of RR3 Kip -
pen, with a score of 886 out of a
possible 1,000, won the Old Mill
Award donated by the Old Mill
located one mile south of Blyth.
This award is given to the sheep
club member with the highest
score. Marilyn van den Elzen,
Kris McNaughton and James'
McNaughton had higher scores
but previous winners are
ineligible.
The Cook's Division of Parrish
& Heimbecker Ltd. Trophy is
donated by Cook's to the club
with the champion white bean
exhibit at the Scaforth Fall Fair.
This award was presented to the
Huron Sheep Club.
The Russell T. Bolton Memorial
Trophy is donated by the Bolts
family in memory of Russell
Bolton of Scaforth and was
presented to the Huron Sheep
Club for their champion corn
exhibit at the Seaforth Fair.
The Canadian Co-operative
Wool Growers donate an award to
the 4-11 member who had the
champion 4-H fleece at the
Seaforth Fall Fair. The winner this
year was Marilyn van den Elzen
of RR 1 Clinton.
Robert Vanden Hoven of RR4
Seaforth won the Bank of
Montreal Award which is given to
the first year 4-H swine club
member with the highest score.
Robert attained a score of 950 out
of a possible 1,000.
Ed Watson of Blyth donates the
Ed Watson Award to the 4-11
member with the champion 4-H
market pig at the Seaforth Fall
Fair. The winner was Robert
Vanden Hoven of RR4 Seaforth.
The Huron County Pork
Producers' Award is donated by
the Huron County Pork Producers'
Association to the member ob-
taining the highest score in the 4-
H swingy club. Robert Vanden
Hoven of RR4 Seaforth received
this award.
Laura Sinclair of RR Bclgravc
was the recipient of the National
Trust Award presented to the
champion 441 swine showman at
the Seaforth Fall Fair. The award
is donated by National Trust of
Godcrich.
The Bergsma Award is donated
by Bruce and Marie Bergsma and
family of Londesboro to the 4-11
swine club member exhibiting the
champion 4-1-1 gilt at the Seaforth
Fall Fair. Brian Sinclair of RR1
Bclgravc was the winner.
Robert Vanden Hoven of RR4
Seaforth was the top novice judge
at the County Judging Com-
petition held in Seaforth. He
received an award from the Hen -
sail District Co-operative Inc.
Seaforth Branch.
Vincent Farm Equipment
donates a trophy to the top mem-
ber in the Huron 4-H agricultural
machinery club. This year's win-
ner was Jeremy Becker of RRI
Dashwood.
The Huron County Junior
Farmers' Award is presented to
the top novice agricultural
machinery club member. This year
Adam Koehler of RR4 Walton
was the winner.
Signal Star Publishing of
Goderich is the sponsor of the 4-H
press reporter competition. The
first place press reporter book was
submitted by Crista Vanden
Hoven of the Seaforth Batter Up
club. Crista receives $12 from
Signal Star Publishing. Suzanne
Schults of the Port Albert
Photography Club received $8 for
her second place entry, and
Elizabeth Kerslake of the Usborne
1 Home for the Holidays Club
was the third place winner and

The Heather Holme Farms
Award was presented. to the
judging club member exhibiting
leadership in the Dairy Judging
Club. The winner of the award
was Stuart Marshall of RR6
Godcrich.
Tanya Franken of Brussels
received the Auburn Co-op
Trophy, donated by the Auburn
Co-op to the 4-H member in
Huron County who exhibits the
reserve champion 4-H dairy calf at
the Seaforth Fall Fair.
The high junior judge at the
County Judging Competition was
Stuart Marshall of RR6 Godcrich
and he received the 4-11 Club
',coders' Award.
D & D Glass of Vanastra
donates a trophy to the reserve
champion dairy showman at the
Seaforth Fall Fair. This year's
winner was Jamie liallahan of
RR3 Blyth.
Elliott insurance of Blyth
donates a trophy to the champion

The Huron Expositor award is
donated by the Huron Expositor of
Scaforth to the champion dairy
showman at the Seaforth Fall Fair.
The winner was Donna Lynn
Armstrong of RR2 Auburn.
The Huron Holstein Club
Awards are presented to the 4-H
dairy club members with the first
and second highest score in the
county, who had a holstein calf.
With a score of 890 out of a
possible 1,000 the first place
winner was Stuart Marshall of
RR6 Goderich. The dairy calf club
member with the second highest
score in the county who exhibited
a holstein calf was Katie McNeil
of RR6 Goderich. Janet Vanden
Hoven had a higher score but
previous winners are ineligible.
The Canadian Imperial Bank of
Commerce in Goderich presents
an award for the 4-1-1 dairy club
member with the highest overall
score in the county. This year's
winner was Stuart Marshall of
RR6 Goderich who had a score of
890 out of a possible 1,000 points.
Janet Vanden Hoven of Seaforth
had a higher score but previous
winners are ineligible.
The Cargill Limited Award for
the high intermediate judge at the
County Judging Competition was
presented to Barb Wynja of RR1
Dungannon.
The Hallrice Dairy Club Team
Judging Comppeetition Award is
presented to the top team in the
County Judging Competition held
in August. Tim Devereaux, Janet
Vanden Hoven, Sandra Schuttel
and Barb Wynja each received a
silver tray donated by the Hallrice
Dairy Calf Club.
Tim Devereaux of RR5 Seaforth
was the recipient of the Bank of
Nova Scotia of Goderich Award
for being the top novice dairy
showman at the Seaforth Fall Fair.
The United Co-operatives of
Ontario Trophy is presented to the
4-H member who has the top
overall score at the Huron County
Judging Competition. That mem-
ber, this year, was Barb Wynja of
RR1 Dungannon.
Brussels Agromart donates the
Brussels Agromart Award to the
high senior judge at the Huron
County Judging Competition. This
year's winner was Scott
McClinchey of RR5 Clinton.
The Huron Beef Producers'
Award is donated by the Huron
Beef Producers to the first year
beef club member with the highest
score. Thc winner was Kristy
Caldwell of RR3 Blyth, a member
of the Belgrave/Brussels Beef
Club.
The J.A. Anstett Award is
donated by J.A. Anstett Jewellers
in Clinton to the champion junior
beef showman at the Seaforth Fall
Fair. This year's winner was
Corey Rintoul of RR2 Lucknow, a
member of the Belgrave/Brussels
Beef Club.
The late Stan Jackson was a
noted Hereford breeder from
Kippen who Icft a substantial
amount of money in a trust fund
for the Huron County 4-H Beef
Clubs participating in the Scaforth
Junior Fair. Each year the interest
from this fund is used for prize
money. The Stan Jackson Award
for the champion steer at the
Seaforth Fall Fair was presented
to Corey Rintoul of RR2 Luck -
now. Corey received a wrist watch
and a cheque for $150.
The Clinton Community Credit
Union, Exeter Branch, Award is
presented to the champion senior
beef showman at the Seaforth
Fair. This year's winner was Den-
nis Johnston of RR3 Holyrood.
The Stan Jackson Award for the
champion heifer at the Seaforth
Fall Fair was won by Dennis
Johnston of RR3 Holyrood. Den-
nis received a wrist watch and a
cheque for $150.
The Zurich Branch of the Hen -
sail District Co-operative donates
an award to the goat club member
with the highest score. Laurie
Rodges of RR2 Goderich wa' the
winner this year. She had a score
of 935 out of a possible 1,000.
The Varna Feed and Farm Sup-
ply Award is presented to the
novice 4-H member in the Huron
goal club with the highest score.
The winner was Michael Kikkert
of RR2 Zurich.
The Toronto -Dominion Bank
Award is presented to the cham-
pion sweepstakes showman at the
Seaforth Fall Fair and donated by
the Seaforth Branch of the Toron-
to -Dominion Bank. This year's
winner was Laurie Rodges of RR2
Goderich.
Heather Becker of RR1 Dash-
wood was the recipient of the Jan
Hayward Award presented to the
goat club member that put forth
an outstanding effort.
W.G. Thompson & Sons
Limited Trophy is donated by
W.G. Thompson & Sons Ltd. of
Hensall and went to the North
Huron Corn Huskers for their
champion 4-H grain exhibit at the
Seaforth Fall Fair.
The Huron Soil and Crop
Improvement Association donated
an award to the outstanding mem-
ber of the North Huron Com
Huskers 4-H Club. The winner of
the award was Tim Robinson of
RRI. Belgrave. Each member of
the North Huron Corn Huskers 4-
11 Club also received a sweatshirt,
'donated by the Huron Soil and
Crop Improvement Association.
The Warden's Novice Award is
donated by Allan Gibson, Warden
of Huron County for 1994. The
award goes to the novice 4-H
members obtaining the highest
standing on the Basis of Awards
in Huron County. From the Sod -
buster Club with 879 points out of
a possible 1,000 the winner was
Shawn O'Rourke of RRI Dublin.
The Don Pullen Award is
donated by Don Pullen, former
agricultural representative with the
Ontario Ministry of Agriculture,
Food and Rural Affairs in Clinton.
It is awarded to the 4-H member
in Huron County receiving the
highest number of points on the
Basis of Awards for 4-11 club
work in 1994. This year's winner,
with 982 points out of a possible
1,000 from the Dungannon Horses
R Us Club was Miranda Mac-
Donald of RR3 Auburn.
