"The Mystique Ride and Drive Day gave all our staff the
opportunity to test drive the new 1995 Mystique and a com-
parable cdiripetttd?9°veMttcll 4
I liked the pep of the Mystique, it handles very well. One of
the important safety features on the new Mystique is the new
antisubmarine seats which will help prevent one from sliding
forward under seat belts in a frontal crash. The Mystique's
interior is very comfortable with everything highly accessible
to the driver. A great ride from a great car."
Catherine Hak - Office Manager
"The new Mystique with the dual air bags is a nice safety fea-
ture. I liked the interior, everything is handy to the driver and
the seating is very comfortable."
Micron Air* Filtration System reduces dust, pollen and soot
particles through the ventilation system.
Brian MacDonald - Mechanic
"An excellent driving car, lots of power, the new engines per-
form very smoothly."
Mystique is the first ever Ford vehicle to be equipped exclu-
sively with multi -valve engines and the first vehicle in its class
to offer an engine that does not require a tune-up before
160000 km.
Shirley Brugger - Service Manager
I was surprised how well the Mystique handled compared to
the competition. The ride was quiet and smooth and the interi-
or was very comfortable."
The Mystique has been designed and engineered to provide a
class -leading driving experience. Advanced geometry & com-
puter -refined tuning to help provide optimum steering feel,
increased braking stability and reduced tire wear.
Rick Wyatt - Sales
"The most exciting vehicle to hit the market for a long time.
Ford has a winner ... it puts the fun back into driving."
The Mystique's driving dynamics provide both fun -to -drive
steady and predictable handling combined with active safety
for high speed and emer;ency manoeuvres.

No sports strike
for SDHS golden
bears teams
As the volleyball and basketball
seasons are near the mid point at
Seaforth District High School still
looks like it can hold its own. As
no player strike seems to be in
effect as of yet. SDHS is the place
to be to watch sports. Each team
would like to extend a welcome to
every member of the community to
come watch! Admission is very
inexpensive (Free), and many
games are thrilling. If you are lucky
you will even get to talk to the
athletes after the game and host
your own post -game interview!
The boy's volleyball teams. _
ventured to F.E. Madill only to play
their hardest and be shut down. The
juniors took awhile to get into their
games but managed to play a few
good games. The coach was quoted
as saying, "Madill is experienced
and will' -probably, mis liuron-
Perth'','They • also ',played against
South Huron and were not as
fortunate to take one game as they
did the previous time. All in all, the
boys are starting to play more and
more as a team but did not manage
to win a game out of six. The .500
season might turn out to be a long
shot!
The seniors played quite well at
time and well riot so well at other
times. Against Exeter the boys took
Ore game and lost another hard
fought battle. Against Wingham, the
boys learned not to take any lead
for granted. Each player agreed that
Madill should have been an easy
apponent and will hopefully tum
out that way. At the end of the day
the boys had only one win to show
for their hard work. On Saturday,
the boys play in a tournament in
Mitchell and were eliminated in the
consolation semi-finals.
The girls basketball teams at
SDHS were involved in a couple of
tournaments. The seniors travelled
to Sudbury and the juniors found
their way to the Listowel
Invitational. The seniors won one
game and played two other
nailbitters only to fmish with a pat
on the back.
The Juniors got back on the right
track after a shaky game against
Goderich in their last regular season
game. The girls played hard and
finished the tournament off as the
top team. Congratulations girls.
The games for the upcoming
weeks are as follows: Boys'
Volleyball. Clinton at Seaforth;
Thursday, Oct. 27, 1994 2 p.m.;
Girls Basketball - F.E. Madill
(Wingham) at Seaforth, Wednesday,
Oct. 26, 1994 2 p.m.
