St. Columban by Cecilia Ryan 345-2028 Bridal shower A miscellaneous bridal shower was held on Friday evening for Marianne Moylan, daughter of Don and Rita Moylan, at the home of Gerry and Karen Ryt, hosted by Patsy Crowley and Katt Ryan. About 25 neighbours of the Moylans attended. A game 'Bride Bingo' was played with several ladies winning a prize. An address was read by Patsy Crowley and Marianne was presented with many useful gifts. Marianne thanked everyone for coming and for their gifts. Lunch was served. Marianne will be married to Jamie Rodgers on October 15 at St. Columban Catholic Church. Gary and Ann Cronin and Gerry and Karen Ryan of St. Columban; Wayne and Melita Cronin of Egmondville; Dale and Susan Cronin of Dublin; Jim and Mildred Cronin of Mitchell and Jim and Joan McMillan of Dublin attended the wedding of Karen Lynn Cronin and Tony Muma in Houghton Lake, Michigan on Saturday, September 17. Karen Lynn is the daughter of Bob and Karen Cronin of Houghton Lake Michigan. Jason, Amanda and Jeremy Ryan spent the weekend of September 16-18 with their grandmother, Cecilia Ryan. Mary Jo Nelson of Lucknow visited on Sunday afternoon with Cecilia Ryan, also Gerry and Karen Ryan and children.
