BY ADRIENNE PECKITT
What's the next best thing to
shopping? Taking about 4-H
club shopping, and that's just
what the McKillop #1 4-H club
did at its meeting on September
21. The club members discussed
how to be a wise shopper and
learned such thing as:
1. Use a Sale Flyer and cut out
coupons.
2. Make a shopping list.
3. Don't go shopping when you
are hungry.
4. Leave little children at home
5. Bulk Foods are cheaper.
6. You pay more for brand
names.
7. Buy fruits and vegetables in
season.
8. Check expiry dates.
Members also talked about
mail orders and a rousing game
of 'The Price Is Right' was
enjoyed by all the members.
The next meeting will be held at
leader Donna Bennett's house
on September 28.
