Seaforth 1 4-H members cel- ebrated muffins at the second 'meeting held August 30 at 3 p.m. at Vanden Hovens'. Mem- bers participated by measuring, mixing and baking muffins from scratch and mixes. Members discussed some ingredient sub- stitutions and were challenged to try changing a recipe as part of a home activity. Some substitu- tions make for healthier baking. After all these batches were baked members judged the appearance, texture and taste of the three kinds of blueberry muffins. Tasting the muffins was definitely the best part of this meeting. Perfect Score Shannon Craig of RR 1 Walton received 100 marks in her recent Grade 2 Rudiments (Theory) examination held in Stratford. Shannon's teacher is Ms. Carol Carter of Seaforth.
