CATTLE JUDGING - Members of 4-H from across Huron County
gathered at the Seaforth Fairgrounds on Wednesday evening as
part of their judging night to eam points. Here members look for
specific qualities in dairy cattle like a straight back and a clean,
sharped-bone body. 4-H members also look for a good milk vein
and mammary system and overall cleanliness. Also being judged
were horses, market hogs, beef cattle and produce.

Gerald Dewar were united in mar-
riage Saturday, August 13, 1994 at
St. Columban Roman Catholic
Church by Father Joseph Hardy.
Mary is the daughter of Thomas
and Madeline Murray of Scaforth.
Lyle is the son of Gerald and
Marion Dewar of White Rock, B.C.

Christine Lehmkuhl, sister of the
groom.
Organist was Patsy Crowley,
cousin of the bride.

and Lisa Strong, friends of the
bride.

Mitchell Community Centre.

Dictcr is the son of Mrs. Erika
Oberbichler, of Austria. Lisa is the
daughter of Mr. aid Mrs. Robert
Beuttenmillcr, of Scaforth.
Maid of Honour was Shelley
Underwood, of Glamis, friend of
the bride. Bridesmaids were Blirbel
Oberbichler, of Austria, sister of the
groom and Tracey Wilson, of Lon
don, friend of the bride. Flower girl
was Hanna Oberbichler, of Austria,
niece of the groom.
Best Man was Mike Oberbichler,
of Austria, brother of the groom.
Ushers were Brad Beuttenmiller, of
Scaforth, brother of the bride and
Jason Bcuttcnmiller, of Seaforth,

Red Cross Blood Donor Clinic
on Thursday, August 25, 1994 at
the Seaforth and District Com-
munity Centres between 5:00
and 9:00 p.m. Anyone between
the ages of 17 and 71 can give
blood. Other criteria is you
should be at least 110 lbs., and
have 56 days between donations.
Please bring two pieces of
identification with you.
The Town and Country
Homemakers have been busy
planning for the re -start of the
Dining Out program for adults
55 years and older, and physi-
cally -disabled adults. I say re-
start, because this is the same
program that was offered at the
Seaforth Hospital in the past, but
beginning in September, it will
be held at the Seaforth and Dis-
trict Community Centres. The
committee felt it needed a
change in scenery, therefore the
dinners will be at the Commun-
ity Centres the third Thursday of
every Month beginning Septem-
ber 15. Please watch my column
for more information on the
Dining Out program.
