Seaforth Manor
Retirement Home
Residents enjoy
musical guests
Hello everyone! How do you like
the hot weather? Summer is the
nicest season but it sure seems to
be the shortest. Everyone has
managed to stay cool at Seaforth
Manor Retirement Home and stayed
busy as well.
' The retirement home garden club
planted some tomato plants and
onions in a couple of urns outside.
Members also transplanted some
petunias, dusty miller plants as well
as wildflowers and herbs in front of
the buildings.
On June 6, some residents went
on a picnic to Goderich beach.
Thanks to Barb and Jody for the
time they shared.
On June 9, residents enjoyed
listening to the musical talent of
Jack and Irene Vincent of Exeter.
Some of the residents even put on
their dancing shoes!
On Father's Day residents
enjoyed a home -cooked barbecued
chicken supper. Thanks go to Cindy
and Henry for cooking it.
The retirement home had a booth
at the Community Lifestyle fair in
Clinton on June 21.
Get well wishes are sent to Hazel
Harburn.
Until next month, God Bless and
Happy Canada Day.
Correction
In an article in the July 13
issue of The Huron Expositor,
the Hullett Township Council
report referred to Bonna Rouse
as the Clerk -Treasurer for
Hullett Township. She was, in
fact, Recording Clerk for the
meeting. Hullett's Clerk -Treas-
urer is Beverly Shaddick.
The Huron Expositor apolo-
gizes for the error.
