Three of the dresses at the exhibit were too fragile to be worn
and were displayed instead. The dress pictured at left is made of
ecru silk with leg 'o' mutton sleeves and a bustle, and is typical
of a 19th century wedding dress. The delicate lacework (see
above) is all handmade. The dress was loaned by Jane Egan
for the Brides Through the Ages exhibit.
