Styles from last year are a little Tess costly and can be just as attractive. 51/./Ad- f ‘‘4 *-e The above dress, modelled by Shannon Kirk, was made for Barbara Evelyn fisher, who married William James Hawkins in Victoria Street United Church on Oct. 17, 1953. The gown has a full net tiered skirt with an overlay of deep ruffled lace. The bodice, of shirred net, is strapless. Worn over the gown is a matching jacket with long fitted sleeves extending to a point at the wrist. Her fingertip veil of tulle is held in place by a matching lace cap. She carried a bouquet of red roses. Her maid of honor wore a waltz -length gown of blue net over satin with matching headdress. Her flowers were pink roses and chrysanthemums. Photo by Mona Irwin
