modelled by her
granddaughter, Kathy
Sowerby, was pale
ivory organza over a
matching silk crepe
underskirt. The fitted
bodice is sleevejess
with a high neckline and
ruffled flounce around
the shoulders. A deep
gathered flounce at the
hem of the gown is
brought up to the waist
in back to form a softly
draped effect.
