ATTENTION B
Susan Lynn Bodaly and David Charles Little were married June 19,
1971, in West Humber United Church, Rexdale, Ontario. Her gown,
modelled by Elizabeth Ball, is a floor -length gown of imported
Belgium lace, with an Empire waistline and tiers of lace falling into a
cathedral train. The sleeves are full and gathered by French cuffs.
Lace applique on the bodice was embroidered with pearls. The
bride's double -tiered lace veil fell from a pearl -encrusted headdress.
Following the tradition of 'something old', the bride wore her great-
grandmother's wedding ring. Her bouquet was created from a
cascade of pink roses, orchid mums, stephanotis and ivy
surrounding a single orchid. Her attendants wore mauve georgette
gowns over under -dresses of pink, purple and white print.

approach, how about giving
other items that come in cans?
A can of paint, a can of

ideas.
POTLUCK SHOWER
Each guest brings a food
item in a serving container that
will become a gift for the
honored guest. After the food is
served, everyone joins in to
wash and dry the gift pieces. At
gift time, each guest tucks a gift
card into the appropriate gift,
along with the recipe that was
used. 1f additional gifts are
desired, baskets to hold the
serving dishes, hot pads, se
utensils or a basic recipe
ingredient may be added.
Planning the menu with
the guests can be done over the
phone or in person but should
be done at least three weeks
beforehand. Because of this,
invitations are rarely sent.
A good activity for this
shower is the making of a
corsage from ribbon and netting
for the bride. instead of using
flowers, just fasten small unusual
kitchen items to it such as a
pastry brush, a melon bailer or a
strawberry huller. As you
