The Best Pair
PERFECT PAIR - Isabelle Brasseur looks up to her partner,
Seaforth native Lloyd Eisler, following their technical figure skating
program at the Amphitheatre in Hamar, Norway on Sunday. Lloyd
and Isabelle captured their second Olympic Bronze Medal. This
was Lloyd's fourth' and Isabelle's third Olympic appearance.
Brasseur and Eisler, the 1993 World Figure Skating Pairs
Champions, placed behind Russian pairs Ekaterina Gordeeva and
Sergei Grinkov (1988 Olympic Gold Medalists) and Natalia
Mishkutienok and Artur Dmitriev (1992 Olympic Gold Medalists).
Both of the Soviet couples had tumed pro and were reinstated as
amateurs to compete in the 1994 Olympics. (CP PHOTO)

Residents enjoyed a special dis-
play of "Staff Wedding Photos" for
Valentines Day. Over 25 photos
dating back to 1954 were assembled
for everyone to see. We were also
happy to have Rev. Sloan show us
his slides of his trip to Scotland.
Our Februiry birthdays were
announced following the program
and strawberry shortcake and ice
cream were enjoyed! Birthday
congratulations went out to Jane
Smith, Jim Key Frank Murray,
Maxine Elliot anWlendrika Bovcnl
Carol Carter entertained for an
afternoon of love songs which
everyone enjoyed very much. We
were well blessed with music this
week av Bill Gibson also provided
a piano concert for our listening
pleasure. A bible study group led
by Rev. Sloan was very much
enjoyed by all who attended. We
look forward to this being a regular
event on our calendar. Rev. Sloan
conducted a lovely "Memorial
Service" for Margeurite Shill who
had been a resident of Seaforth
Manor for many years. Residents
and staff gathered to honor her
memory. Thanks to Rev. Sloan for
officiating at this service.
