The Seaforth Juniors played
Exeter Sunday night, and came up
with a big win. Both teams were
flying as the first period ended at a
- 4-4 tie. The defence, along with
goalie Julie Agar, worked especially
hard to maintain the tie. In the
second half Seaforth forwards were
able to capitalize on the many
Exeter penalties and charge ahead
to a 7-5 win. Goals were by Jane
Crowley and Kathy Devereaux.
Assists went to Jill Dolmage, Betty
Little, Debbie Vanden Hengel, and
Kelly Devereaux.

game award for some great saves in
net.
In the afternoon game against
Schomberg, Seaforth came away
winnerswith a 2-0 score. Both
goals were scored by J.D. Nolan
assisted by Scott Van Dooren and
Scou Henderson. J.D. Nolan
received the M.V.P._ award for this
game.
The final game was played on
Sunday against Exeter. Seaforth's
goalie, Sean Ludwig earned a shut-
out in this game and won the
M.V.P. award. The fist of
Seaforth's three goals was scored
when Scott Henderson slipped the
puck across to J.D. Nolan who
flipped it in. Scott Van Dooren
tucked in the next goal as the goalie
tried to freeze a shot by Nolan.
Nolan scored the last goal as well
with the help of his linemates, Van
Dooren and Henderson. Much credit
in these games should go to the
defencemen, Mike Murray, Ben
Murray, Adam Leonhardt, Craig
Somerville, Mark Philips, and
Jamie Dick fortheir superb body -
checking and strong shots from the
blueline. Other players who put
forth a great effort to keep Seaforth
in the game were Jason Hulley,
Ryan Van Dooren, Daryl Young,
Jared Carnochan, Mark Vock, Tim
Sills, and Steve Phillips.
