trade deadline last week,
players in the Maitland curl-

uproot their families and
move to Winnipeg or Moe -

full focus on the up cording
play-offs. . •
• With only one.week left in
the regular season in the
Monday/'Tuesday league
there is a tight three-way
baffle for first place with

for eighth place with 7 and 7

'three teams In the Wednes-

a shot at first place. Team
Brown could have wrapped
up first place this week but
their shocking 11 - 4 loss at
the Bands of Mike Strickland
and Team Murdock has left
the door open for- Team
Moore, 9 - 4 winners over
Lion 1 Iearts and 'Team Cloet
who could only manage a tie
against Team )epnla. The last
week of the regular season
also sets up an epic battle for
last place with Outsliders
playing Git 'R' Dunn. Both
teams lost this week,as usual,
but surely !me of them will
win next week and avoid fin-
