The Society has a full time contract position commencing January 2017 in Goderich for a:
Legal Assistant
Under the supervision of Legal Counsel, the Legal Assistant will provide support to in-house
counsel and child protection staff in the creation and preparation of court documentation. The Legal
Assistant position requires excellent communication and organization skills and technical expertise
in legal research and law clerk matters. He/she must be able to work cooperatively to assist others.
Maintenance of confidentiality and integrity of information is critical to the successful completion
of all duties.
Qualifications:
Community College Diploma in the Law Clerk program, five years experience in a legal office, and
previous experience in the child protection legal field with proven skills in drafting of child protection
legal documents; or equivalent combination of experience, education and competence. You must
have a vehicle and be comfortable driving between Stratford and Goderich sites on occasion.

Organization: The Bluewater Area Family Health Team (BAFHT) provides primary health care. The clinic is located in
Zurich which is in the Municipality of Bluewater along Lake Huron. The Board,of Directors is seeking a
fundraiser during a campaign to raise money for an expansion.
Responsible to: Board Fundraising Committee/Executive Director
Job Purpose: Responsible for planning and implementing a range of fundraising efforts during a campaign to raise
$600,000 for the Bluewater Area Family Health Team expansion project.
Primary Reaponsibiitiew
• develop and monitor a critical path for fundraising efforts
• manage special events` throughout the fundraising campaign

• Display a high level of responsibility, attention to detail, excellent organization and time
management.
• Must be dependable and able to work independently. Willing to work rotating weekends.

• Valid driver's license and own transportation.
