Dungannon and St. Helen's news
Submitted
John Miller married
Fanny Miller on Dec.
15. There was a large
crowd including Joey
and Fanny Shetler of
Belleville.
On Dec. 17, I noticed
what appeared to be the
annual Bauer family
ride around the village
on a wagon pulled by a
couple of beautiful
horses. There appeared
to be about 20 happy,
singing folks taking the
ride.
There was a Christ-

still don't know who
won. Maybe one of
Lions club members
will let the newspapers
know.
It is v ry difficult to
get thnews from St.
Helen's as I must go to
their homes and even
get stuck in the drive-
ways at times, necessi-
tating the use of a horse
to get out.
As this paper will not
come out until after
Christmas we hope you
all had lots to eat and that
Santa was good to you.
We wish you a Happy
New Year with lots of joy
and no sickness.

Knights donated 2 -dozen coats
to Christmas bureau
Submitted
The Goderich Knights of Columbus donated two -
dozen children's winter coats this holiday season
to the local Christmas bureau, hosted in town at
the St. Peter's Church. The charity imitative helps
underprivileged families provide gifts for their
children under 18 years of age. Along with the
present, each youth receives a winter coat. Pictured
here is Colleen McGregor, right, coordinator of the
2016 Christmas bureau, accepting the winter coat
donation from David Cann, a Knights of Columbus
member.
