Denaine Stemp of Goderich in his 93rd
year. Beloved husband of Annette Stemp
for 64 years. Loving father of Douglas and
Judy Stemp of Goderich, Roberta Stemp
and Arlene Timmins of Bayfield, Laurie and
John Glazier of Goderich. Dear grandfather
of 6 grandchildren and 7 great
grandchildren. Predeceased by his son
William and brothers Charlie and Alan
Stemp. Don was a 'Veteran of WWII
sbrving overseas as a wireless_ air gunner
with 415 Squadron. He continued his
military career in the RCAF until his
retirement in 1970. Don then went on to
work for 15 years at Champion Motor
Graders, where he was affectionately
known as «Doc" Don's dedication to his
community found him as a long time
member of the St. John's Ambulance,.
receiving the Officer Order of St. John for
his service. Don was also involved with
Scouting and a recipient of the Long
Service Medal. He was also a 4th Degree
Knight with the Knight's of Colombus,
Father Nagle Council 5420 and a Life
Member of the Royal Canadian Legion,
Branch 109 Goderich. Friends were
received at McCALLUM & PALLA
FUNERAL HOME. Goderich on Monday
from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass was
celebrated at SI. Peter's Catholic Church,
Goderich on Tuesday December 6, 2011 al
11 AM. Cremation. Parish Prayers were
held at the funeral horne on Monday at
4PM. Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 109
held a service at the funeral home on
