Beloved husband of Annette Stemp for 64 years. Loving father of Douglas and Judy Stemp of Goderich, Roberta Stemp and Arlene Timmins of Bayfield, Laurie and John Glazier of Goderich. Dear grandfather of 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his son William and brothers Charlie and Alan Stemp. Don was a 'Veteran of WWII sbrving overseas as a wireless_ air gunner with 415 Squadron. He continued his military career in the RCAF until his retirement in 1970. Don then went on to work for 15 years at Champion Motor Graders, where he was affectionately known as «Doc" Don's dedication to his community found him as a long time member of the St. John's Ambulance,. receiving the Officer Order of St. John for his service. Don was also involved with Scouting and a recipient of the Long Service Medal. He was also a 4th Degree Knight with the Knight's of Colombus, Father Nagle Council 5420 and a Life Member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 109 Goderich.
