More than 160 students took part in this year's
Goderich District Collegiate Institute food drive,
held Tuesday, December 6. While much of
the town was hard-hit by the August tornado,
residents still gave in amazing numbers.
Two trucks and a trailer full of donated food were
given to the Huron County Christmas Bureau.
The student -led effort saw about 150 canvassers
going door to door in Goderich, and another
dozen back at the school sorting the donations
before they were brought to Knox Presbyterian
for the Bureau.
