George Warren Casaday was born in Monona, Iowa, in 1868; the only son of Warren and Elizabeth Casaday of that place. He received his early education in the home. schools. While in active life he' took' a correspon- dence course in the international school at 'Scranton, Penn., and later he earned a diploma from the Iowa State College at Ames,.' Mi;.:Oasaday was employed in the Hart -Parr factory here at the time ,of his first operation two years ago last summer. Since then he„has been a constant sufferer and for the past year he has been in bed. He passed to the Home Above on Wednesday evening, November 22nd. Words hat he had quoted a few days earlier were true to the manner of ,his going. • .."And his face lit up with a smile of joy As an angel dream. passed -o'er him."
