Tac -Tonics take Sailors' tourney Where else but at a charity volleyball tourna- ment do teams compete in categories like the Beach Bums and the Hardcores? On Saturday the Goderich Sailors held their volleyball fundraiser, complete with food, drinks, and half of the Memorial Arena cov- ered in sand. Winners include, in the Beach Bums Cat- egory, Sunset Blinds; in the Hardcore category Tac Tonics; and in the three -on -three category, Hoof -Hearted. Organizer Brian Sowerby explained that this year's event was larger than last. "We had more teams this year, and some uni- versity players came down, that really upped the calibre," he said. "It was a great turnout, and we've already had some people express an interest in playing next year." Next year's tournament will be held in May to accommodate more players returning home from college and university. Final figures on the amount raised by the tournament were unavailable as of press time.
