Sno-Pitch Tournament The Goderich Pirates -sponsored -event is a perennial favorite and runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Ag Park. Winterfest Story and Craft Time The Goderich Library will be hosting a Wmterfest Story and Craft Time from 11 a.m. until noon on Saturday, and is open for chil- dren ages four and up. Chili Cook -Off The Rotary Club's Chili Cook -off provides a great chance for lunch if you're involved in any of the athletic events of the day. Winterfest Dance Demo New this. year, Casablanca Performance Competition Team who will put on a free half-hour dance routine starting at 1 p.m. For more information, call 519-524-8300. Huron County Museum The Huron County Museum is offering revelers the chance to enjoy some hot apple cider. Keen -eyed observers can walk through the galleries and try to catch a glimpses of some elusive hidden snowflakes. Admission is free for children 14 and under. Wmterfest Skating Carnival The Goderich Figure Skating Club will be putting on a special show to help celebrate Winterfest. The skaters will show their talent off through "he Magical World of Disney" at the Maitland Rec Centre from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The event costs $5 for anyone aged 13or older, $3 for children ages 6-12, and children aged five or younger are free. Children's Theatre Company Another staple of Winterfest is the Chil- dren's Theatre Company productions, and this year they're putting on two shows; Hans Christian Anderson's `The Little Mermaid" and Jeanette Jaquish's "Harry Potter and The Obnoxious Voice," a spoof directed by Jen- nifer A. Black. The shows start at MacKay Centre at 2 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and free for children aged 12 and younger. There will also be shows on Sunday, start- Sunshine tart ing at the same time. The Amazing Kreskin Mentalist the. Amazing Kreskin and How- lin' Dog Jazz fill the old stable -house with their own styles of entertainment. Tickets are available for $35 at The Livery, The Goderich Print Shop, The Park House and Ernie King's in Goderich. Senior 'A' Pirates Winterfest Dance The Pirates are holding their annual dance from 8 p.m. until 1 a.m., at the Memorial Are- na. Tickets are $10 and include a meal.
