The Need 'for Gash Capital'
The In v. " tt; r'S Opportunity
in 1919 it was necessary to finance a
193,000,000 bu-hel wheat crop, worth
$333,000,000, This year, it is conserva-
tively estimated that a crop of 300,000,000
bushels, worth at least $600,000,000 will
require to be financed.
Owing to this heavy strain upon credit,—
the fabric upon which modern business is
built, ---a number of large concerns, which
required capital to provide for increased
costs and extensions, found it difficult to
do so by means of borrowing.
As a result, they are reluctantly com-
pelled to convert their surpluses, some of
which are naturally invested in Victory
Bonds, into cash.
This condition,—supply temporarily ex-
seeding demand,—favors the purchaser
who buys Victory Bonds fur investment.
This is the ``investor's opporturti' y," It
has made it possible for him to buy these
boners to yield an interest returnunpar-
alleled in the history of Canada.

Everything .growing out of the ground
seems intended for some use in 'establish-

Buffalo,. N. Y., long since found out what
is naturally best for women's diseases.
Ile learned it all through treating thou-
sands of oases. The result of his studies
was a medicine called Dr. Pierce's Favorite
Prescription. This medicine is made of
vegetable growths: that nature surely in-
tended for backache, headache, weakening
pains, irregularities, and for the many dis-
orders common to women in all ages of life,
