SUNDAY NIGHT FIRE
Oit Sunday night last a mysterious
fire destroyed the two barns at :Mr.
Patrick Lamphier on the Swamp Lisle
near Whalen. Corners. The fire brake
out at 8 o'clock in a straw, stack close
to one. of the barns, and rapidly -spread
to the two barns, which were close
together. The live stock and imple-
ments were saved. The same mass had
had a fire in the mown; of one of his
barn. just the Sunday before at about
the sem ehour. A passer-by noticed
the flames and rushing in assisted in
patine: the fine out. Mr. Lamphier
was away at 'the time, of the first fire.
The cause of the fire, is a mystery.
Mr. Lamphier ,had corn aratively little
insurance.
