USBORNE COUNCIL
The Usbc.rne Municipal Council met
at the Towrusbip Hall, `June 6, and
were dull organized a Court of Rev-
ision, of the Assessment Roll for :914.
As there there were no. appeals a few
small errors were corrected, the roll
adopted and the court closed.
Council met for business -after the
close of the Court of Revision. All
members were present. The minutes
of theprevious meeting were lead
and approved,
A .number of important ceommunica-
tions were read and filed. The Coun-
cil ware again farmed into a Court
of Revision• to consider and determine
appeals against assessments . imposed
by By-law No. 4, 194,1 for the Cern-I
tralia ,drain. As there were no ap-) t
peals the court was closed and the
by-law finally adopted. •
The Engineer's Report, plans etc..
for Gardiner drain, improvements and
- repairs was read and considered. The
report plants, specifications ,und esti-
mates were adopted, and the work is
to be done en accordance therewith.
By-law No. 6, 1914,' providing for
`. the construction of the repairs and
improvements to Gardiner Drain, levy-
inf the assessment and collecting the
same in one payment,, was provisi,on-
ally adopted; said by-law to be paint-
ed. is pamphlet form and served on
the assessed owners or occupants.
The Court of Revision to be held
Saturday July 4th, at 2 o'clock.

lengthy discussion was laid over un-
til .next meeting of Council.
A few accounts were passed and

marched from the parlor 'to the lawn

shadow lace and carried a boquet' of
white' roses; while the bridesmaid
looked beautiful in a. dress of Oricat-

chine and carried a baguet of v, bite

friends. Rev. H. A. Kellermann has
had rare educational privileges hav-
ing gradhuated Pram Northwestern Col-
lege .af Napierville, I11., in June 1911,
and of Evangelical Theological Semin-
ary of the same place on, June 8,1914.
During these years he took part in all
of the College activities, being for 4
years on. intercollegiate debating teams
was active in Y.M.C.A. and , Sunday
School work as well as+ iii 'many either
activities. The bride . is also a gradu-
ate of Northwestern College, graduat-
ing with the class of 1913. Both were
very popular among their schoolmates
and teachers and by their: -cheerful,
sunny dispositions have inspired the
Lives of all with whom they came in
contact. The happy couple. will enter
the work of the ministry in the ranks
of the; Canada Conference.,of the Ev-
angelical Association, taking' iup their
work at Pelham Centre, Ont. With a
splendid •equipment• for this great
work their friends feel confident that
their lives will be spent in ,great
usefulness and service, and all join in
wishing them a most pleasant jour-
