The council of the tp. of Stephen,
convened at the Town Hall, Crediton,
on Monday, May 7th, at 1 p. m. All
members present. Minutes of provions
meeting read and approved. A com-
munication from the council of Hen-
sall, was laid before the Council, ask-
ing for co-operation to petition the
county council to purchase a stone
crusher and rent the same to the re-
spective ninnicipalities in the County.

quite frequently strong men were
moved to tears. He leaves on Wed-

work the Conference has placed upon
him While we are loath to part with
our much beloved Pastor, yet we feel
proud to have been under the pastor-
ate of one the Conference thought to
be the than to undertake so very im-
portant a work. We shall expect to
have him return to us again some fu-
