Mrs. Davis (nee Miss Shapton) had been 111 but a few months and the taking off of so young and healthy a woman is sad, but the cironmstances sur- rounding her death makes it still more de- plorable. Deceased was only 29 years old, was possessed of imuch vigor and had a blight future before lion In April last she waa delivered ot a child, a bright healthy gill, and progrested nicely until a fever set in, when she steadily sank and (lied as above. The child survives its mother. Deceased was held intim highest esteem, was a, member of the Methodist church tied bore her trying illness until the lest with Christian fortitude.
