which represents
adult bowlers cov-

St. Marys in the
south to Owen
Sound to the north,
now has represen-
tation on the
Ontario Five Pin
Bowlers’
Association (O.F.P.B.A.)
Board of Directors since
Bluewater president
Mike Cregan, Exeter was
elected to the Provincial
Board at last June’s
OFPBA Convention in
Muskoka.
For the first time ever,
Bluewater bowlers now
have a direct voice on
the 12 member Board of
Directors who govern
five pin bowling in
Ontario. Cregan’s term is
for three years.

volunteer
award
Grand Bend’s
Ron Dann, nearly
a year after
induction into the
OFPBA Hall of
Fame, was
recently present-
ed by Minister of
Citizenship Carl DeFaria
a certificate and a spe-
cial provincial pin for 36
years of volunteer ser-
vice with the OFPBA in
Ontario at Sarnia.

The 3 game Bluewater
zone finals rolloff of the
league executive tourney
will be held between
Nov. 11 and Dec. 1 at a
location being arranged
by the Bluewater
