Whatever model car they drive to
the tracks, race car drivers need to
maintain their own vehicles just like
everybody else. Fortunately, now
they and the rest of the driving
public have some help.
Kelly Williams is a veteran
Canadian CASCAR driver who has
developed a Be Car Care Aware
Checklist. She created the list to
remind motoring consumers what
they need to do to keep their
vehicles in good repair.
The list contains two sections:
items that drivers can check on their
own and those that should be
a
serviced by a qualified tech
nician.
“It’s easy to overlook certain
aspects of car maintenance.” says
Kelly. “By using my list, car owners
can cover all the bases and make
sure that they properly and regularly
maintain their vehicles,”
Car Care Canada recommends that
you take your car to a qualified
technician before you head out on a
major road trip. You should also
professionally service your car
according to the maintenance
schedule in your vehicle owner’s
manual.
