on Thursday, Oct. 13. The senior
boys team were in third place at the

The boys were coached by Mr.

these teams from Hullett Central

Recently, Tom and Marjorie
Duizer and Bill and Irene Bromley
visited with Lisa Duizer and her
husband, Shane Walker, in their new
home in New Minas, Nova Scotia.
Shane and Lisa moved in late spring
from New Zealand when Lisa
became an associate professor at
Acadia University in Wolfville.
Wolfville is situated on the north
shore of Nova Scotia.
The Londesborough foursome
visited Lisa’s office which
overlooks the picturesque Minas
Basin. They took the ferry from St.
John, New Brunswick, to Digby,
Nova Scotia to visit Shane and Lisa.
For the return trip they travelled the
longer route by highway.
During their 10-day vacation, the
two couples toured places of interest
such as Annapolis Royal, Halifax,
Peggy’s Cove and Grand Pre. Irene
reports they enjoyed the leaf colour
changes in New Brunswick and
Quebec.
Apparently the young hosts
benefited from the particular talents
of the two tradesmen, Tom and Bill,
around their new home as well.
