Delivered by C-section at the Alexandra Marine and General Hospital (Goderich) on September 28, 2005, our precious daughter weighed 7 lbs. 12 oz. and measured 21 inches long. Grandparents David and Dianne Baan of Walton and Jim and Liz Stark of Toronto are also thrilled with the new arrival. Many thanks to our family, for your love, prayers and support; and to Dr. Nicolette Pearce and the hospital staff for taking such good care of us. Little girl, you are a blessing straight from the Lord! 40-1 Cards of thanks BEACOM. My love and sincere appreciation to my nephews and nieces who planned the wonderful open house for my 90th birthday: Murray Lyon, Bert and Joanne Lyon, Bill and Yvonne Beacom, Bob and Angela Beacom, Lois (Beacom) and Ken Edey, and Marilyn (Neil) Crummei*. Mary Ritchie, my sister-in-law was there with me. Many of my great and great-great-nieces and nephews were also present. Sincere thanks to the many relatives, friends and former students who shared the day with me. You all make my life active and happy. - Edythe. 40-lp BRIDGE. I would like to thank all for the calls, visits and food, both while 1 was in the hospital and since coming home. It was greatly appreciated. - Jim Bridge. 40-lp Cards of thanks BAAN. It is with a great sense of appreciation that the family says thank you for the many expressions of sympathy and care that we have experienced during these past days. With the home going of C. Martin Baan we are grateful for many things. To the many family, friends and neighbours who gave of themselves to attend visitation, the funeral and helped to meet the many varied needs of our family during these difficult days, we say thank you. The care we received from Rev. Brent Kipfer, the Brussels Mennonite Fellowship, Auburn Evangelical Missionary and our immediate community of the 17th and boundary was phenomenal. The compassionate, sensitive care we received from the Schimanski Family Funeral Home was very much appreciated. We are most grateful to the doctors and nurses of both Stratford and Seaforth hospitals who cared for Dad to comfort his remaining days. For all that each of you have done for us is most significant and appreciated. There is no place we would rather live than among you. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His faithful ones. Psalm 116:15 40-1 HUNKING. Thanks to everyone who called, visited, sent e-mails or cards and brought food to our homes after the death of our wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Addie Hunking. Many thanks for the floral tributes and memorial donations given in her memory. Your thoughtfulness will always be remembered. Thanks to the grandsons who acted as pallbearers and the great grandchildren who were flower bearers. Thanks to the wonderful staff at Exeter Villa for their care over the past five years. Also to the staff at South Huron Hospital for their care and compassion to Addie and the family during her last few hours. Thanks to Mike Falconer and staff at Falconer Funeral Homes and to Rev. Pat Cook for the meaningful funeral service and words of comfort. Also thanks to the Dashwood Men’s Quartet for the gift of music at the service, and Londesborough United Church Women for the delicious lunch.
