We used the chance to also have our family pictures taken which we do every five years. A lot of changes can happen with the addition of new little ones or better halves. The changes in styles, hair and clothes and the times, and choices of formal and casual, can be seen in these pictures taken over the last 30 years. The daughter of Karin McDonald Calhoun and granddaughter of Leona McDonald has been here for a week's holiday and left on Thanksgiving Sunday. We enjoyed brunch together in Bayfield and a short visit at Karin's home before she left to catch her (light home. Five Walton Women’s Institute members attended the county rally in Belgrave. It consists of holding the annual meeting for the Women’s offering envelopes, are in the information centre by the sound system. Walton's turkey supper is the first Wednesday in November. Institutes of Huron County, listening to reports, holding discussions on issues of concern, and listening to the guest speaker from Wingham. The ladies also enjoyed a potluck lunch and plant sale. Carol and Jackie Henderson snapped some photos of a moose in Joe Semple’s and Graham Work’s hayfields just north of Brussels Oct. 1. According to a local conservation officer this is as rare an occurrence as you expect. “I can’t think of a reason for him to be here. He’s a long way out of his habitat.” Moose aren’t even allowed in captivity, so it’s therefore not likely that he escaped from a zoo or sanctuary.
