Mrs. Muriel (Dolmage)
McLachlan of Tuckersmith Twp.,
passed away peacefully at Seaforth
Community Hospital on Thursday.
Sept. 8. 2005. She was in her 84th
year.
She was the beloved wife of
Robert McLachlan. She was the
loving mother of June Blaine and
Don Barwick of Stratford, Jack and
Mary Helen McLachlan of
Tuckersmith Twp., Lois and Ray
Scoins of Seaforth. Glen and Linda
McLachlan of Vanastra, Carol
Humphries and Gerry Feeney of
Egmondville, and Don McLachlan
and friend Kim of Chatham. Mrs.
McLachlan was the cherished
Huron United Way campaign begins
The Huron United Way announced
its 2005 campaign on Labour Day.
In a celebration with members of
organized labour and the Huron
United Way, Larry Langan, board
chair, shared with the community the
2005 goal of $230,000. “We are very
confident we will make this year’s
target with the support of the
community,” said Langan at the
Labour Day Parade in Goderich.

the dear sister-in-law of Jean
Simpson of Egmondville. Hazel
McCartney of Seaforth, and
Delphine Dolmage of Seaforth. Mrs.
McLachlan will be missed by
several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by daughter
Joan, daughter-in-law Sandra,
granddaughter, Cheryl. great-
granddaughter. Alisha, brothers and
sisters-in-law Stewart and Doreen,
Russell and Adeline, and Leslie
Dolmage, and brothers-in-law Peter
Simpson and Wilson McCartney.
A private family service was held
at the Box and Smith Funeral
Chapel, Seaforth on Friday, Sept. 9.
Interment was in Maitland Bank

The Huron United Way surpassed
its 2004 goal of $200,000 by $6,000
last December.
When asked how the goal was
determined Kimberley Payne,
executive director said, “we set the
goal based on what we felt our

Mr. Dave Miller of Belgrave,
passed away at Wingham and
District Hospital on Monday, Sept.
12. 2005. He was 63.
Mr. Miller was the beloved
husband of the former Eleanor
Wilcox. He was the dear father of
James and Jennifer Miller of Fergus,
Suzanne and Frank Borrmann of
RR1, Bluevale, Taye and Geoff
Newman of Oakville, Adrienne and
John Gwinn of Bothell, Washington
and Mary and Aaron Bell of
Crossfield, Alberta. He was the
loving grandfather of 18
grandchildren. Mr. Miller is also
survived by his sisters and brothers
of the Levi Miller family: Jacob,
Gideon, Levi, Sarah. Lizzie, Robert,

Interment will be in Wingham
Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario.
