Keith Wilbee and Howard
Hackwell.
The children joined the
congregation from Sunday school
and Rev. Joan had Time For The
Young at Heart. She asked them if
they had ever lost something and
how they felt. Were they happy
when they found it?
Rev. Joan told the children she had
lost her little sheep and asked the
children to look for it. She was very
happy when her sheep was found.
She told the story of the lost
sheep. When the shepherd found one
of his sheep was missing, he left the
rest of his flock to look for the
missing one. He was happy and
celebrated finding his missing lamb.
In God’s eyes, she said, people are
like the flock of sheep, all important.
When one is lost, God is there to
look, love and care for it.
Communion was served by the
confirmation class. They even baked
the bread during their confirmation
class on Saturday.
Young people involved were
Andrew van Vliet, David Pethick,
Caleb Ringennberg and Bethany
Black.
