McGAVIN. Four years ago I
decided to collect coats for the
homeless. So far, I've collected
around 454 coats 190 of them being
donated this year. I've also had
people knitting hats, mitts and
scarves and giving snowtoants and
boots. Of course, all of these coats
have not come from my closet.
Through family and friends, word
of mouth, church and school, I have
had many kind people dropping
them off to me. Thank you so
much, I couldn't do it without your
help. I can tell you that these
people are so thankful to receive
such a gift. Please know that
through your generous donations,
you make these people feel special
and as though someone cares for
them and they are extremely
grateful. I thank everyone for their
support of my efforts and for their
kind words. Thank you, thank you,
thank you. - Abby McGavin. 49-1
