Rev. McGauley's message to the
adults was The Days are Coming.
Jeremiah speaks to his people. When
it seems all is lost the people of
Jerusalem wait for a branch of the
olive tree to start. A branch will
spring up from David to rule. To you
will be born a saviour.

dividuals. "I think with the
councillors we have we could do a
good job in picking between them."
Contacted Tuesday morning
regarding what the actual costs
would be, clerk-administrator Kriss
Snell said that the 2004 by-election
cost taxpayers $2,500, plus staff
hours.
In making their decision,
councillors wondered if they should
go into closed session for discussion.
Snell said that if the debate was to
include the merits of an individual
then it would be appropriate to do so
in a closed meeting.
After returning to the public
meeting, the choice of council was
named.
