defencemen in front of the net,
deflecting past a surprised Jr.
Knights goalie. Andrew Van Vliet
received the assist.
The Lakers held a 1-0 lead going
into the second period, but London
was able to play a stronger second
period, scoring two goals of their
own and_taking a one goal advantage
into the third.

On Saturday, the Brussels Tykes,
thanks to Delayna Smith and
Derrick Waechter, dedicated • their
game to all the soldiers who lost
their lives. These two decided that
having a game at 11 a.m. on
Remembrance Day was special and
wanted to show their support to the
troops.
A short service was held on the ice
with 0 Canada playing and all the
players from Brussels and Seaforth
laying down their sticks in honour of
the soldiers who have given their
lives to give these kids the freedom
It was a rough and tumble game
with penalties galore when the Blyth
Atom Reps travelled to Brussels
Friday, Nov. 10 for an exhibition
game.
It was a shellacking through two
periods as Blyth scored six and
shutout their hosts.
The VanWyk boys, Mike and
Matt, got the Blyth onslaught
started, with Spencer Stevenson and
Matt VanWyk assisting on Mike's
goal.
