John and Kay wish to thank their family, friends and neighbours for the tremendous outpouring of love, which was shown to them through the many beautiful gifts, flowers, cards, telephone calls and all of their support at the time of their 50th wedding anniversary celebration on October 28. They also wish to express their thanks to the United Church Women for their help. with decorating, and with serving the refreshments at the come and go tea, which was held at the Wingham United Church hall. The many kind friends who were able to attend, in spite of the inclement weather conditions, were also to be commended. They also wish to thank their children for all of their help, and for the delicious family meal, to which they were later treated.
