(FRED) HOWSON
William Frederick (Fred) Howson
(former president of Howson and
Howson Ltd.) formerly of Blyth,
Ontario passed away peacefully .at
Braemar Retirement Centre,
Wingham on Friday, Nov. 3, 2006.
He was in his 93rd year.
Fred was the beloved husband of
the late Mary Margaret (Orvis)
Howson who predeceased him in
May. He was the loving father of Jim
and Esther Howson of Bayfield, Bill
and Susan Howson, Doug and Barb
Howson and Bruce and Candice
Howson, all of Blyth, Ann and Bob
Crawford of Wingham, Mary Arthur
of Goderich and Margaret and Brian
Craig of St. Jacobs. Fred was the
cherished grandfather of 19
grandchildren and 16 great-
grandchildren. He was the dear
brother-in-law of Hazel Taylor, Ross
and Edna Orvis, Jack and Norma
Orvis and Bill and Arlene Orvis.
Fred was predeceased by one
brother Ross Howson and his wife
Isabelle.
Friends were received at the Blyth.
Visitation Centre of the Falconer
Funeral Homes Ltd., 407 Queen
Street on'Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 -
9 p.m.
The funeral service was held at the
Wingham United Church, 217
Minnie St., Wingham on Monday,
Nov. 6 at 1 p.m.
Interment was in Blyth
Cemetery.
Pallbearers were grandsons Joel
Arthur. David Craig, Jason
Crawford, Christopher Howson, Jeff
Howson, Rick Howson, Ron
Howson and Steven Howson.
Flowerbearers were granddaughters
Christa Amyot, Sherri Cantelon,
Julie Howson-Chang, Sandra
DeCorte, Ashley Howson, Amanda
Rutledge, Rachel Smith and
grandsons Scott Arthur and Michael

MARY MARGARET PEACOCK
Mrs. Mary Peacock of Bluevale
passed away at Wingham and
District Hospital on Thursday, Nov.
2, 2006. She was 91.
The former Mary Robertson was
the beloved wife of the late William
Peacock who predeceased her in
1995. She was the dear mother of
Ross and Bunny Peacock of RR2,
Wroxeter, Anne Pearson and Peter
Chaplin of Osoyoos, BC and Lloyd
Peacock and Marilyn of Prince
George, BC. She was the loving
grandmother of Debra and Paul
Nunnaro of Richmond, BC, Dave
Peacock and -Michelle Bodell, both
of Vancouver, BC and Michael
Bodell and Shiela of Burnaby, BC.

the Cranbrook Hall had seven tables
at .play. It was hosted by Leslie and
Yvonne Knight. Winners were:

She was the sister of Agnes (Mrs.
Gordon McBurney) of RR3,
Wingham and sister-in-law of Jean
(Mrs. Alex Robertson) of Wingham.
Mrs. Peacock is also survived by
six great-grandchildren and several
nieces and nephews.
Her parents Adam and Annie
(King) Robertson, her sister Janet
(Mrs. Dawson Craig) and her
brother Alex Robertson predeceased
her.
Visitation was at McBurney
Funeral Home, Wingham on Friday
from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. The funeral
service was held at the funeral home
chapel on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Rev.
Jeff Hawkins officiated.
Interment was in Wingham
Cemetery, Wingham.

RALPH S. SCHADE
Ralph "Pete" Schade of Brussels,
and formerly of Wallace Twp.,
passed away at Seaforth Community
Hospital on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006,
Born in Wallace Twp. on June 25,
1917, Ralph was in his 90th year.
Ralph was the dear brother of
Waldon .Schade of Wiarton and Neil
Sehade and wife Ruth of Brussels.
He was also loved by his several
nieces and nephews.
Ralph was predeceased by his
mother Mariette, his brothers
Norman and wife Agnes and Harvey
and wife Marie, and sisters Ella,
Ruby and husband Emerson and
Elsie and husband Ivan.
Friends were received by the
family one hour prior to the funeral
service held at the Schimanski
Family Funeral Home, on Saturday,
Nov. 4 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Cathrine
Campbell officiating.
Cremation with interment was
held in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.

NELSON MCCLURE
Mr. Nelson McClure of
Egmondville and formerly of
McKillop Twp., passed away
peacefully at Seaforth Manor on
Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006. He was in
his 89th year.
Nelson was the beloved husband
_of Fern (Dexter) McClure. He was
the loving father of Clayton and
Joanne McClure, and Bryan and
Sharlene McClure, all of McKillop
Twp. He was the cherished
grandfather of Cynthia, Shane,
Marcie, Amy, and Steven. He was
the dear brother and brother-in-law
of Dorothy and Bob Dalton of
inplay

and Smith Funeral Chapel, 47 High
St., Seaforth on Saturday from 2 - 4
p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m., where the
funeral service was held on Sunday,
Nov. 5 at 2:30 p.m.
Interment was in Maitland Bank
Cemetery.
Pastor Stephen Hildebrand
officiated.
As expressions of sympathy,

.Stroke Foundation, Egmondville
United Church, or the charity of
one's choice would be greatly
