Eight members of the Walkerburn
Club met at the home of Deanna
Snell on Oct. 16.
Bernice Norman was' in charge of
the meeting and opened with a
reading One Room School, followed
by a Thanksgiving Prayer.
Il a Cunningham gave the
treasurer's report. Betty
Archambault read the minutes of the
last meeting and the roll call was
answered with recipes for supper
dishes. The next meeting will be
held on Nov. 13, at the home of
Friends around the area were

was held on Saturday, Oct. 28 at
Holy Family Catholic Church in
Bolton.
Ann was a former French
immersion teacher at St. Mary's
School in Goderich and was well
known to many students, friends
and co-workers living in around the
Goderich, Auburn area. She leaves
behind her husband Richard, three
children and seven grandchildren.

Bernice will be taking care of the
rest of the house herself.

Army.
Mrs. Cunningham played the
piano, while the rest sang some old-
time songs. Two members had a
dance.
Jacquie McKee had donated a
large bag of yarn from one of her
friends. This was sold to Club
members.
Mrs. Snell served lunch and a
social half hour was enjoyed before
everyone went home.
The Londesborough manse will be
among those homes to be toured. I
understand they will have non-
professional help and there will be a
different theme for each room.
Bill and Maxine Seers will open
their log cabin for folks coming to
see the sights. This is a second
location without the luxury of hydro
to assist in the decorations, Ball's
Church being the first. Help for the
Seers will come from Carol Reinink,
of Sunset Springs Greenhouse near
Walton.
The Knox Church in Auburn is last
but not least on the list of places to
see next weekend. The church will
also be serving refreshments Friday
evening and Saturday afternoon.
The tickets are only $10 per
person and available at the post
office or from any Knox Church
board member. Get out there and
steal all the decorating ideas your
head can hold.
