Jessie Margaret Nesbit of Blyth
passed away peacefully on Sunday,
Sept. 24, 2006 at Seaforth Manor,
Seaforth Ontario. She was in her
94th year.
Born on Aug. 24, 1913 in East
Wawanosh Twp., Margaret was the
daughter of the late Albert and
Martha Quinn (Howard).
Margaret was the beloved wife of
John B. Nesbit, who predeceased her
in 1977. She was the loving mother
of David and Gladys Nesbit of
Kirkton, Anne and John Buchanan
of London, Alice and Robert Moore
of Windsor, Mary and Ronald
Buchanan of St. Thomas, John and
Ann Nesbit of Blyth and Robert
Nesbit of Windsor.
Margaret was the cherished
grandmother of Phyllis and Ross
Chisholm, Russell and Lori Nesbit,
Bradley and Charity Buchanan,
Brent Buchanan, Suzan and Stan
Donovan, Judy and Jim Ure, Lisa
and Michael Fritsch, Lesley
Buchanan-Cairns, Tim and Megan
Buchanan, Johnny and Krista
Nesbit, Michelle and Jeff Nesbitt
and Mark and Erin Nesbit. She was
the loving great-grandmother of
Nicole, Melissa, Scott and Evan
Chisholm, Jennifer, Brett and Rachel
Nesbit, Joshua and Christopher
Buchanan, Sarah and Stephanie
Donovan, Robert and Michael Ure,
Kirsten, Zachary, Ezekiel and
Hannah Fritsch, Jessica, • Jeffery,
Ethan and Daniel Cairns, Justin,
Joseph and Shawn Buchanan, John
D. and Joel Nesbit, Kaila, Marissa
and Brody Nesbitt.
Margaret was the sister-in-law of
Florence Quinn of Goderich. She is
also survived by several nieces and
nephews.
Two sisters, Mary Bailie and
Marion Hunking and a brother
Edward Quinn predeceased her.
Friends were received at the
Falconer Funeral Homes Ltd., Blyth
Visitation Centre on Tuesday, Sept.
26. The funeral service was
conducted from Trinity Anglican
Church, Blyth on Wednesday,
Sept. 27 with Rev. Tom Wilson
officiating.
Readers were granddaughters Lisa
Fritsch and Krista Nesbit. The
soloist was daughter Anne
Buchanan.
Pallbearers were grandsons
Russell Nesbit, Bradley Buchanan,
Brent Buchanan, Tim Buchanan,
Johnny Nesbit and Mark Nesbit.
Flowerbearers were grand-
daught,!rs Phyllis Chisholm, Suzan
Donovan, Judy Ure, Lesley
Buchanan-Cairns and Michelle
Nesbitt.
Interment was in Blyth Union
Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, the
family would appreciate memorial
donations to Trinity Anglican
Church, Blyth or the Heart and
Stroke Foundation.
AILEEN CLARK
Aileen Clark of Walkerton, and
formerly of Ethel, passed away
peacefully at South Bruce Grey
Health Centre, Walkerton on
Sunday, Sept. 24, 2006 at the age of
69. She was born in Grey Twp., a
daughter of the late Archie and
Dorothy (Hall) Smith.
Aileen was the dear partner of Jim
Setley of Walkerton; loving mother
of Bonnie and Joe Grubb of
Wingham, Brad and Wendy Clark of
Ethel, Jim and Cindy Clark of
Dublin, Perry Clark of Walkerton,
Rob Clark and friend Connie King
of RR 2, Listowel, Charlene and
Wayne Brubacher of Ethel; special
grandmother of Holly, Chris,
Shannon, Samantha, Amanda,
Devin, Lexi, Logan, Brittany, and
Travis and great-grandmother of
Gage, Brodi and Mishca.
She will be missed by her mother-
in-law Mary Clark of Fordwich, her
brothers Harry and Grace Smith of
Brussels, Bill Smith and friend Carol
of Chatham, and her sister Gloria
Allen and friend J,im of Grimsby.
Aileen will also be remembered by
Judy Smith, Kim Halerwich-Clark,
the Setley family and by many
nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her
husband Gord Clark in 1995.
Visitation was held at Peebles
Funeral Home, 14-1 John St.,
Atwood, where Aileen's family
invited relatives and friends to share
their memories on Saturday, Sept. 30
from 10 a.m. until the time of the
memorial service at 11 a.m. Rev.
Andrew Versteeg officiated.
As expressions of sympathy,
memorial donations to the Canadian
Cancer Society or South Bruce Grey
Health Centre, Walkerton would be
appreciated by the family and may
be arranged by calling the funeral
home at 519-356-2382.
This October, the Canadian Red
Cross will be doing its part to keep
Canadians warm.
The Red Cross will be collecting
all sizes of winter clothes for the
Coats for Kids (end adults too!)
program. Donations will be
-accepted through local businesses
which have volunteered as drop-off
points. All winter garments are
welcome provided they are in good
condition.
In Blyth, donations will be
accepted at the Blyth General Store
and in Brussels at the Brussels
Foodland.
Donations in Clinton will be
collected at Clinton Dry Cleaners,
Clinton Public Library, Huron
County Library Administration, My
Fair Lady and Moore's Foodland.
In Seaforth, donations will be
accepted at Pete's Paper Clip,
Papple's Garden Centre and Produce
Stand, Seaforth Public Library,
Seaforth Sewing Centre and St.
Thomas Anglican Church (on
Wednesdays 9 a.m. to 330 p.m.).
Goderich donations will be
welcomed at Canadian Tire, French
Dry Cleaners and Suncoast Mall.
Radford's in Londesboro will be
collecting as well as Dean's
Valumart and Wescast Complex in
Wingham.
For those in need, clothing will be
available at St. John's Anglican
Church in Brussels, Knox
Presbyterian Church in Goderich,
Bethel Bible Church in Seaforth and
Sacred Heart Roman Catholic
Church in Wingham between 3:30
p.m. and 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 3
and at St. Paul's Anglican Church in
Clinton between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
on Saturday Nov. 4.
